On June 10, 2022, a meeting was held between the heads of NEFU research teams and the director of the Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Harutyun Avetisyan. Questions about the role of digitalization in the humanities and the prospects for joint interdisciplinary research were discussed. Employees of the International Research Laboratory «The Arctic Linguistic Ecology Lab» and the Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences discussed the points of contact between different fields of science, in particular, IT and linguistics. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of using digital tools for the preservation of languages ​​- the LingvoDoc linguistic platform. Alexander Grigoriev, a researcher at the International Scientific Research Laboratory «Multiscale Reduced Order Models«, noted that the meeting was very positive and constructive. “Our pressing and acute issues were raised: we discussed issues related to the cooperation of teams.
